The Problem    :    Network Intermittent on Access Layer
Customer Affected : Shared Web Hosting Customer

Cause of the Problem   
1.    Customer attack each other and cause access layer intermittent
2.    Congestion due to Broadcast Storm

Action Plan   
1.    Unplug suspected customers’ uplink from the network

Preventive Measures   
1.    Network Monitoring System will be deployed in early of 2008 for faster detection and prevention.
2.    Apply new filter on Network Intrusion Prevention System

Status   :    Problem has been fixed. Currently network is under normal operation since 5:15pm 17 Dec 2007

Alternative Solution   
1.    Enforce customer to block unused ports/patching
